Late entries will be accepted (if tournament field is not full), and will be subject to a $25 Late Registration fee.
ELIGIBLE: Men amateur golfers who are 50 years old on or before May 14, 2019. Must have an established one-year USGA Handicap Index and 12-month LI (Low Index) to qualify for net score awards. Gross awards within age-based flights do not require an established handicap.
REGISTRATION PROCESS & KEY DATES:
Feb 18: Registration opens
May 6: Registration closes at 11:59 PM
May 7: Preliminary Pairings posted on website by 6:00 PM; Late Registration opens online if tournament field is not full
May 10: Late Registration closes at 11:59 PM
May 11: Final Pairings posted on website and tournament portal by 6:00 PM
FORMAT: 54 holes of aggregate stroke play within the following divisions…
- Championship: All players with 2.9 LI or better as of May 1st; Gross competition only
Players may request inclusion in the Championship Division, if desired - Classic Senior: Players 75 and older as of May 14th; Gross & net competition
- Flighted: All players not in one of the above divisions will be assigned to age-based flights of equivalent size at close of Registration; Gross & net competition
PAIRINGS & TEE TIMES: When registering, players will pre-select whether they would like to play their first round on Tuesday afternoon, May 14th or Wednesday morning, May 15th (or whether they have no preference). Foursomes playing on Tuesday PM will play their second round in Thursday’s AM wave, while foursomes playing their first round on Wednesday AM will play their second round in Thursday’s PM wave. Friday’s final round pairings will be determined by 36-hole gross score.
