Entry Deadline: Wednesday, July 30th at 11:59 PM (PDT)
Registration may close earlier if the field fills.

Players registering after the field is full will be placed on the online wait list only.

 

 

ELIGIBILITY: Open to men professional golfers. Six (6) male amateurs eligible via Long Beach Golf Festival exemption criteria. Professional field limited to 150 players.

REGISTRATION PROCESS & KEY DATES:

February 2:  Registration opens Register/Results

July 30: Registration deadline (11:59 PM PDT)

Aug 3: Preliminary Pairings posted by 6:00 PM

Aug 4: Final Pairings posted by 6:00 PM

Aug 4: Practice rounds & advance player check-in

Aug 5: Charity Pro-Am (course closed to competitors until completion)

Aug 6: Round 1

August 7: Round 2

August 8: Round 3

August 9: Final Round & Awards Ceremony (~3:00 PM)

FORMAT: 72 holes of aggregate stroke play. 36-hole cut to the low 50 professionals and ties, plus the low 3 amateurs and ties. If more than 70 professionals make the 36-hole cut, an additional 54-hole cut will apply. Amateurs making the cut will compete through the weekend.

PAIRINGS & TEE TIMES:
All players will complete Rounds 1 and 2 at El Dorado Park
One round in the AM wave (starting at 7:00 AM) and one in the PM wave (starting at 12:00 PM)
Players remain in the same threesome for Rounds 1 and 2
Rounds 3 and 4 pairings determined by cumulative score
Weekend tee times begin at 8:00 AM

WAIT LIST POLICY:
If the field reaches capacity, an online wait list will be created.

Placement is based strictly on online signup order
Email, phone calls, or texts do not constitute wait list registration

When a spot becomes available, the next player on the wait list will be contacted by email and will have 24 hours to confirm entry before the opportunity passes to the next player.

WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS:
Withdrawals before registration closes or before the field fills: Full refund minus $40
Withdrawals after registration closes: 50% refund only if replaced
Withdrawals after Final Pairings are posted: 50% refund only if replaced
No refunds for no-shows, disqualifications, or withdrawals after August 3rd at 11:59 PM

Medical or emergency DNS refund requests (50%) may be petitioned via email only to: GJohnson@skylinksgc.com

PRACTICE ROUNDS:
Official practice day: Tuesday, August 4th
Fee: $30 walking, includes one small bucket of range balls
Carts not included
Tee times strongly recommended to be booked by July 26th

PLAYER CHECK-IN & CREDENTIALS:
Advance check-in available August 4th from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Players must check in before their first round.

Each player receives a money-clip credential, which must be worn on the range and practice areas and is required for complimentary meals.

PRO-AM:
Participation is voluntary.

• Priority given to returning Pro-Am participants
Remaining spots filled via lottery
Final Pro-Am field posted by July 31st 

ADDITIONAL POLICIES:
Caddies: Allowed; subject to USGA Rules
Carts: Allowed for players and caddies only (player expense)
Spectator carts: Prohibited except approved disability accommodations
Dress Code: Professional golf attire required – NO SHORTS
Conduct: Unprofessional behavior may result in disqualification

PRIZE MONEY:
Winner: Up to $25,000 (subject to full field)
Minimum earnings: $250 for all players completing 36 holes or more
Checks mailed within 3–4 weeks
Amateur Payouts – Gift Card payouts only if cut is made.
