ELIGIBLITY: Men amateur golfers 50 years or older as of April 19, 2026. Must have an established World Handicap System (WHS) Index to qualify for net score awards. Gross competition is limited to the Championship Flight only.

REGISTRATION PROCESS & KEY DATES:

 • February 2:  Registration opens Register/Results  

 • April 10: Registration closes at 11:59 PM

 • April 13: Preliminary pairings posted on Festival website by 6:00 PM (waitlist booking available online)

 • April 18: Final pairings posted on Festival website and tournament portal by 6:00 PM

COMPETITIONS & FLIGHTING: 

• 54-hole net competition, with a cut after 36 holes for all flights
• Championship Division: Gross scores only; no internal flights
• Eligibility: WHS 6-month Lowest Handicap Index of 2.9 or better at registration close
• Special requests for inclusion considered
• Flighted Division: Net competition only
• Two flights of roughly equal size based on WHS 6-month Lowest Handicap Index
• Classic 75s Flight: Players born before April 19, 1951

FLIGHT BREAKDOWN 

• Championship Flight: 0.0 – 2.9 Handicap Index (Gross only)
• A Flight: Index range determined after signups
• B Flight: Index range determined after signups
• Super Senior Flight: Age 75+ (No handicap minimum; players compete to their individual handicap)

TEE TIMES & PAIRINGS:  Preliminary pairings posted on the Festival website for Round One. Round One & Two tee times posted on the Senior Amateur Championship portal prior to tournament start. Final Round: Starting times based on 36-hole scores; top 1/3 of each flight advance (subject to adjustment based on flight size). Tee times for final round start at 7:00 AM at El Dorado Park GC. Final round play occurs within respective flights only.
